I noticed my hair loss when I was 16 after a haircut to get it short and I panicked. After reading about treatments on the internet, I talked myself out of all of it. A year later and month away from being 18, my hair has really deteriorated and I want to do something about. I'm currently taking Nizoral, Biotin, and Saw Palmetto and am going on Proscar and Rogaine soon. I have a bad diffuse thinning pattern and any advice is appreciated. Support is also appreciated. Thanks.

I agree finasteride is the best way forward.
:agree:
And then you can drop the Saw Palmetto!

Only use rogain with finasteride. Never substitute Rogain for the finasteride. The way your thinning looks, which is not bad at all, finasteride should work just fine for you. If you want more comfort go ahead and get the rogain, but in my opinion you should be fine without it right now. If you do experience additional loss then might be the time to consider additional resources.

Can anyone tell you are loosing that little bit on the top of your head?
How's your hairline doing?
Yeah I was thinking about using both and the nizoral I'm still on and the thinning on top is getting worse while the hairline is a bit noticeable if you're looking at it. People began to point it out over the summer so its probably just getting obvious right about now. I'm not looking for amazing improvement, just so I have good thickness and an alright hairline.

You are lucky ur temples dont seem receeded at all, with minoxidil and finasteride you will for sure get regrowth on top no problem.

I guess it can also mean your frontal hairline. As far as I can say from those pictures your frontal hairline and temples look damn good. Sure you can see a bit thinning at the middle but finasteride/minoxidil should fix that so keep going and enjoy your great hairline. I was a bit slow to notice receding temples because of the way I styled my hair for 8 months and after my sis cut it short she said that I was affected by hair loss and well 3 months from that information I started to fight against this.
