Laser Cap doesn't work after 3 years of use

I used the Laser Cap after my doctor suggested trying it before a transplant, well thought about it for a couple of months. Bought the thing and used it 1 hour 4 times a week as instructed. 6 months went by no hair growth, 1 year went by no hair, 2 years went by no hair growth, now 3 years, nothing.

Even though I use minoxidil, the Laser Cap was supposed to bring in my hair according to my doctor but it didn't after spending $2500 on it.

So I thought I pass my experience to say it is worthless while a good idea was a complete waste of time and did a lot of research to discover there isn't any positive customers to claim it works, only a couple of users but they had transplants but really the only thing I could find was the site was claiming it works but that's a conflict of interest to say it works and selling it.

Anyway, I just thought I could add my two cents here and say it was a waste of money and is really a gimmick.:$

it's worrying that a competant doctor would even suggest that as a treatment, unless he had some vested interest in selling them

Yes the Laser Cap turns on but the results, it doesn't work for growing hair. I mean when you start the process for the first time, yes you have to wait 6 months to say ok, where's the hair. Just like minoxidil, it works and you know whats it does but the Laser Cap is a cap, you wear it for 1 hour and wear it again in 24 hours or four days a week. The battery works for 2 hours and 4 hours to fully charge.

My doctor said give it try which I thought, hmmm. Waited a couple of months and went for it. I wish I did my research before spending that kind of money because it didn't grow a single hair for me which is why I wanted to post and let people know it is a gimmick.

Bumping this up because I saw a hair transplant specialist recently and he was telling me about his experience with laser treatments, and that he saw results on patients in a trial. He did no try to sell me on any specific brand, or any products that he carried. Simply recommended it.

But, for the price that they are, I don't know that it's worth the risk.

Sad to hear since I recently decide to start trying laser. I didn't spend anywhere near $2500 though. 3 years is a long time to wait for results though. The manufacturer of the device I bought said I should see results in 3 months. I will give it 6 to see a noticeable difference. If not, I will consider it useless and just continue with the big 3.

Lasers are crap what I can tell, never seen anyone with actual real results.

It makes sense that in order for laser to work, your hair has to be short and you have to do it along with other treatments. Laser alone is a losing battle unless your hair loss is not aggressive.
