Knot Bleaching, Why Not Just Dye Them Blond?

Hi,

I was wondering why not just use a color remover, dye the knots in blond and apply a knot sealer? Instead of using a product that will destroy the system if misused!

I might be missing some information but for the moment this seems like a viable solution. Any thoughts on this?

In order to "dye" blond, you need to STRIP the hair. Most hair that is coming from India is black, or dark brown, anyway. So all you are doing is adding more process on top of more process. You will destroy the hair. When you dye darker, depending on the dye, if there is no ammonia, it can actually thicken and coat the hair, but the results don't always last long.

Hair stripping is to chemicals remove color from hair, leaving it ready for color. When you see dark-complected women (and men) with fried looking bleach blonde hair... it was stripped, and not well. Then died blonde, after.

Has anyone had experience with this? I recently purchased a hair system with knots that cannot be bleached. It’s made from real hair, but it has been chemically dyed at the factory, making bleaching impossible.

I was wondering if dyeing the knots with blonde or platinum cream could be an option to better match my skin tone. Has anyone tried this? I know it's a temporary fix, but would it work?

I saw an African woman on youtube with a blonde lace wig who dyed her blonde knots to brown to match her skin tone.

I have successfully used rit dye remover that stripped the hair of its color and turned it blonde, but I have not the slightest clue how you would achieve this on just the knots; if anyone knows a way, I would love to know...rit dye remover has the consistency of water, not a gel or paste.
