The most practical option I believe is to use Kirkland in the evenings and Rogaine foam in the mornings.

The foam is obviously more expensive, but from what everybody says on this forum it dries much quicker and is a lot less greasy.

I'm having to wait for mine currently because it's being held at UK customs for 4weeks :jackit:

I am thinking to add some natural juice of lemon...maybe that can help to disolve that greasy effect I really hate it...because I am using also nanogen...I might going to shave my head for 3 months to see if it is working or not...this way I don't have to face the greasy effect...

When you blowdry your hair you can blow the minoxidil away from your scalp and make it ineffective.

If you shave to get the greasy look away, you will fail. The PG will still grease up your scalp making it look like your constantly sweaty. Your only option it so use another brand during the day.

It's not nearly as bad if your hair is already dry, then apply it. If you're applying it to a damp/wet hair/scalp it's going to end up greasy.

Also, a lot of people have had success with rogaine foam in the mornings (not really greasy) then kirkland or other liquid at night before bed.

Its completely oposit for me... When i used to apply on a damp scalp i could just gently brush my hair without touching scalp after 15 min and it looked OK. When i applyed on a dry scalp it was a bit more greasy

Joshua, what is your regimen like now? Are you still using Folligen?

Just use it at nighttime only. I use about 1.5-2 ml before I go to bed and it works great. I don't use any minoxidil in the morning.

minoxidil only once a day won't help the majority of hairlosssufferers. You're lucky.

I too have been using minoxidil once per day, about the same amount, and have started to see thickening of some hairs on my hairline. In fact the past three days they've turned darker and thicker and it's kind of blown my mind how much better my hair is looking.

joshua,

How is Folligen For Blondes working for you?

You must still have a decent head of hair then. If I used Folligen in the morning it would make my diffuse hair look thin as hell.
