Hi all

I have just started to take Fincar, and have bought some Nizoral so am going to start that too. Before this i did 6 months on 5% rogaine, but then stopped as i did not really see much improvement, however reading this forum i think i did not give it a good enough chance so id like to add some minoxidil to my regime.

In the Uk Rogaine is expensive so was thinking of trying the Kirkland version.....my question is...is it the same stuff as rogaine? or would i be just wasting my money??

Also as a side question does anyone know the best place in the UK to get Kirkland??

Thanks all

Chris

Kirkland minoxidil is exactly the same thing. And it works. You can find them for a very cheap price on e-bay. Good luck

Kirkland is just as good as Rogain and there are several other generics that are just as good.

I personally wont use Kirklands due to it being to greasy and making my hair look like sh*t after applying it. So I pay a little more and use Dr Lee's as there is no greasy after effects. Kirklands is more greasy than Rogain foam also.

If you have used Foam then don't expect kirklands to give you the same cosmetic appearance after an application.

With that in mind its money well spent. Also it takes about 3-4 months in most people to really start to see any noticeable change and up to a year for satisfactory improvement. Just like any hair treatment its only as good as how much time your willing to put into it.

You really have nothing to lose. Buy it use it if your comfortable with the feel and appearance then its win win.

reywdo,

where are you getting the Rogaine foam from? Online or from a local pharmacy?

I have now just started to see results from Kirklands after 4 months of using it on and off. But I use Dr Lee's 15% every day. It's good to use both, one at night and one in the morning.
