Hi, first time posting here mainly for the hairloss but I noticed there are a few others with another problem I have that I previously thought I was on my own with. About 3 years ago (18years old) I went to the doctor to ask about my hairloss and he said there was nothing her could do but did notice I had some seborrheic dermatitis and prescribed me a 2% keto shampoo which I used 3 times a week.

I started to notice after a few months that whenever I would wash my hair this white layer would appear all over the top of my head- its particularly noticeable because my skin is naturally quite tanned and I have dark hair. Then it started going this white colour everytime my head would get wet- so even if I went swimming or something a layer of sticky white stuff would form. This was very distressful for me but I simply avoided getting my hair wet whenever people were around which was obviously hard! Anyway I stopped using the shampoo and started using baby shampoo a couple of months ago and the white stickyness seemed to go away which was fantastic but after continuing my fight with hairloss I realised I would have to have some kind of anti-inflamatory shampoo in my routine.

I started up the keto again and sure enough, almost instantly this white layer came back. I wanted to know if anyone has had any recent break throughs? I am going to try this apple vinegar I hear so much about as I can see the logic in it. Does it stop the inflamation and serb though? I am still reading around but would really appreciate any advice people can give.

Cheers.
