If it only lowers DHT levels by 25%, it is unlikely to help much at all with hair loss. Perhaps with very mild hair loss it may help, as the above poster has mentioned, but for most Androgenetic Alopecia sufferers, a much stronger DHT suppressor (i.e. finasteride or dutasteride) would be necessary. When it comes to side effects, the unfortunate truth is that there is a direct linear relationship between level of DHT suppression, side effects, and hair gains. Lowering DHT by 25% as opposed to 70% will give far less sides, but will also be far less helpful in treating Androgenetic Alopecia. I myself am a dutasteride user, and thankfully in my case, I have only very minimal side effects that are very tolerable (mainly just that my libido is slightly reduced). However, for those whose bodies do not cope so well with systemic DHT suppression, it is a tough situation. At the end of the day, each person has to decide for himself which is more important, saving his hair at the expense of side effects, or losing his hair without such side effects.
