my heart is having palpatations i feel nevous and tingly all over i feel really scared and anxiety and my stomach hurts

what do i do?

Damn if you are in that state mentally just stop. Maybe you do react negatively to the drug but if you are that conscious about it you are bound to develop side effects just because of the nocebo effect alone.

I don’t think finasteride is for you. You’d be better of trying other dht blockers with less sides cause even if you are lucky and don’t get sides your constant worrying and rightfully so will be a reck as I know it would be for me too, up to you but good luck

Relax, what you described it's just anxiety calm down and play a game or something, take your mind of it, you took it move on , stop overthinking it and if with time you will actually get real sides you will know they are real and not nocebo...

I’m on finasteride since +6 months and I’m experiencing sides , but what you’re saying is totally NACEBO , do not freak and act like it’s poison , it’s hormonal which means it takes time to work. Check ur semen it might get watery from the very first pill as it happened with me!

Did you stop the treatment? Sides from day 1 can't be a good sign for the future.

2) stop taking the meds because so far, you do not seem like the kind of person who is stable enough to take medication that might give you side effects.

no , I didn’t stop. I just switched to 1mg every other day instead of daily . Yeah I freaked out when it first happened and sometimes it’s placebo effect . Since I’m single and mever had sex before. This worries me but not as much as is in your case. I may quit soon , bit sure yet! Have to give it more time but definitely I’m not gonna keep on it for my whole life.

If you have sides they’ll usually get worse as it builds up. I’d consider switching to something else

I’m not ready for minoxidil and it might not work for me as i have an extremely oily scalp “ s.dermatitis” ..but i will get my semen tested and make my decision

I am in the medical field. You just need to relax, most of these symptoms if not all of them are from your anxiety. You took this drug knowing what the side effects were correct? Let me guess the second after you took that pill you got a weird feeling in your gut and your anxiety started? All these symptoms your feeling can be from anxiety. The mind is a powerful thing and your anxiety is getting to you. You may think this isn’t true because you wouldn’t expect these sides but that’s the power of anxiety.
