Hi.
A week ago I switched from Scalp Med to Rogaine (liquid 5%). So far so good, but I was wondering if I will experience some shedding because of that switch.
I've been reading that Rogaine (minoxidil) will work for a few years then it stops. Is that true? I thought that its necessary to use it for a life time to maintain the hair.
I'm 29 and I'm on norwood scale around II. I've been using Scalp Med for 2 years but only at night. Basically one bottle of scalp med last me around a year.
I used it on my hair line and a little bit on the top. I'm using Rogaine also once a day - only at night.
By using Scalp Med over that 2 years my hair loss stopped.

PS. one more question. Can I mix Scalp Med and Rogaine? I still have a little bit of Scalp Med left.
