Well I will make this story short. I'm currently at the age of 25 ! and STRESS ruined my hair. I had thick long black hair all around back in dec. I had a small amount of recession on the frontal region. From dec to march my stress levels were wayyyyyy to high. So i remember specifically one day in march I woke up in the morning and noticed my hair was THINNED out allll over my head not just the top. After that day my hair loss in the front temple zone accelerated. Every week I would notice it going back more and more. Just one day all the hair all over my head with softer and thinner. Not sure if its a medical condition or what. Its been since march 2011 and still the same all over. maybe it will get stronger. The stress is all gone now and been happier, but then again kind of sad to because of the hair loss. So 2 weeks ago I started using 2 out of 3 of the big 3. My dermatologist proscribed me propecia and rogaine foam . I was nervous in starting propecia but started with just 0.5mg at the start and starting this monday will bump it up to 1mg as he said. The rogaine I dont think I want to start yet i know it gives sheeding and since I have long hair will be annoying. But I just bought nizoral shampoo 1 percent and will be starting that tonight!. I will post pictures soon of my current hair situation and will always follow up here and let you guys know how its going. So far with 0.5mg of propecia hairline still receding slightly and no shedding as heard by many others. on a side note I've heard of Telogen Effluvium that can cause hairloss but goes away over time?? My older brother who is 31 has temple loss and just starting to loss at the crown area. I know mine shouldnt start falling until my late 20's or early 30's but I guess stress ruined mine......

You hope so ????????!!!!!!!!

Stress/medical related hairloss is far more likely to grow back and usually far more limited in its extent, whilst m.p.b just gets worse.
Dont be looking for miracles with your treatments most of the time they do very little, If they actually were gauranteed cures this forum would'nt exist and neither would bald men.
