This is my first post here.
I am 23 years old. Did not have any hair problems until a year ago. Hair started to itch a lot. Seeing white flakes on hair on a daily basis. Hair also started to thin around this point. Went and saw a dermatologist and got put on several topical solutions (Betamethasone, Dermol, etc). While they all seemed to work temporarily, nothing seemed to fix it. Also been on Ketaconazole for about 5 months now.
Just started taking propecia. It has been about 4 weeks. Is the itchiness related to the shedding? Does propecia help with the itchiness?
