Hello all. Ill keep it short as possible. Just started Propecia 3 days ago after seeing dr haber in Cleveland . My hair loss started 2 years ago only at the temples (at age 32) i immediately started taking a good hair vitamin and started using emu oil on my hair and researched everything i could do naturaly to reverse my hair loss. Fast forward 2 years i still have most of my hair but it has gotten worse. But dr haber actually said i have good hair and he couldn't ethicaly perform a transplant on me because i have to much hair. He did say i def have pattern baldness beginning at temples and recommended Propecia. I have been terrified to take it bc of the horror stories online. Dr haber assured me its very safe, he himself has taken it for 16 yrs and perscribed it to his own son at age 19 (4 yrs ago ) this really told me it must be safe or at least he truly believes that. And this guy won the golden follicle award lol in 09 for Best transplant dr in the world. Pretty impressive! The name of award makes me laugh a lil haha so he would know. So i have felt some effects already nothing crazy but i am a lil scared and i can see why how some people can really manifest side effects in their mind. I know i did yesterday! I know this is getting long so my question, does your body take a lil time to adjust to the medication? Ive had a lil pressure at the bottom of my belly, felt a lil weak, slight nausea. Slight headache. All could just be anxiety. Any thoughts or advice would be great. How long did you guys take to adjust to it and in general how were you guys the first month or so on propecia ? Im not gonna let fear ruin this for me bc hair loss was starting to really effect how i felt about myself. I just need a lil reassurance from ppl who have been through this. Thanks alot in advance -Anthony-
