Hi everyone im gonna start by introducing myself, Im 22 medium/heavy steroid user

Im nowhere near bald but im like between Norwood 1 - 1.5 i think, but over the years my hair has thinned out and hairline has receeded (compared to before when it came down to my forehead)..

Anyways, about 2 months ago i started losing hair like 14 year old girls lose their virginity nowadays... i would carress my hair and everytime around 3-5 strings would come on my hand.. on the shower and bed pillowcase i would get like countless strings of hair everyday... Well 2 months passed and i decided it might not stop by itself lol, so i decided to buy some products:

Minoxidil 5% (using twice/day)
Azelaic acid (using once/day)
nizoral/keto shampoo (using once/day)

(No finasteride or dura, tried finasteride 2 years ago and started feeling sex issues.. after some research i found some scary things and i just dont feel like hair on my head is worth the risk of permanent impotence, dont try to convince me otherwise)

Well i started using these products 3 days ago and from day 1 whenver i carress my hair i get 0 strings of hair (tried like 30 times in a row everyday), my pillowcase has 4 strings of hair from 3 nights of sleep, i get like 5 strings of hair and like 5 when applying minoxidil (if that)... My hair completely stopped falling its amazing indeed.. BUT

BUT, i thought i was supposed to shed A LOT of hair so new stronger/thicker hair could grow... -.- very angry right now...

Can someone enlighten me on what could be happening?
Could it be too soon to shed?
Could it be that all the hair that i shed in the past 2 months will now grow stronger and thicker?

I also find it weird that my hairloss would stop in like 1 day ?? is this normal?

Help me pls, thanks

So what do you guys think:

I took 3 pictures with no flash just normal room lightning then i took one more with flash on the top (thats what worries me, my scalp is visible with flash is this normal?? my hair is pretty short but still im not sure if its normal)
The last one is the one with flash and the 4th has strong lightning ... FOR THE RECORD: My forehead has always been big lol

I put my hair back as much as i could to show my hairline hope it helped to evaluate

Uhm, I think that's normal. Shed happens a bit into usage of minoxidil from what I read

Photos please. Also it's the weak hairs that shed. The follicles that the weak hairs come from are either going to start producing strong hair with the help of rogaine or become dormant. No guarantee that those shed hairs will grow back.

For me I think rogaine was good at making my weak hairs fall out and my strong hairs get stronger and prevent falling out. I've used the stuff for 7 months and my hair looks the same. A little better in the crown but recession has gotten worse.

I agree with you on finasteride. If you are mentally strong and won't worry about sides that drug is likely to keep your hair. But the trade off is significantly altering your hormones. For a vanity issue. The majority of men won't notice a difference from the use of finasteride. The ones who are focusing on the sides are going to blame every single detrimental health event on finasteride.

Difference in sides*. It will keep your hair.

Some of your photos look like you should be a hair model you have so much hair. You might not shed if you don't have any telogen hairs. I'm not saying you don't have male pattern baldness but if you do it's very early on. Norwood 1.5 ?

I can tell why you would want to hold on to hair like that. My hair has ways been dish water blonde and never grew long looking well. For me it's not as big of a deal to lose it cause my hair always sucked.

thx for replying bro

lol hair model hahaha, pictures can be deceiving sometimes

Well im not sure why but minoxidil, azelaic acid and the shampoo seem to have thickend up my hair a bit in the past few days... anyways isnt it a worry that my scalp is visible from top ? especially with flash.. when my hair is wet or damp its a nightmare man, my whole scalp is visible with lightning from above or flash

Also, i do have some weak hairs on my left temple and a bit all over but it as i just said it has ****ing become thicker ever since i started with the products and whenever my hair is brooshed the weak spots dont appear as they do when its a mess like right after i wake up or something

And do you think im norwood 1.5 or 2?

Look at a picture when i was like 12 or 13 lol

it has bad quality but u can see that my hairline was like "circular" and now its more "squared" or matured/receeded not sure

And i do have male pattern baldness.. althought when i use compounds like testosterone, anavar, deca and Eq i dont lose hair, when i tried winstrol and dbol my hair fell so much and it didnt come back 100%.. maybe 50% of what fell or something :/

People who dont have male pattern baldness dont ever lose hair no matter what right?

This picture is from 3 years ago (before i lost tons of hair suddenly), reason my hair is so backwards is cuz i was riding a motorcycle at a high speed when the pic was taken.. compared to before my hair is very thin lol, i could put a strong flash on top of my head and you wouldnt see my scalp (dry or wet) and now my hair is like on the first pics on first post :/

Why would someone with that hair be taking minoxidil?
Because he wants to keep his hair. Some people just maintain on things like minoxidil and finasteride. I'd rather maintain a good head of hair than try to grow hair back from a balding head.

Id say watch it close. If it moves even a little more jump on the big 3. If you catch it early it shouldn't be a problem.

Watch your hairline and your crown. If things look worse even by a little bit in 6 months or so jump on treatments. As far as norwood Id say between 0 and 1. So a bit better than a normal adult hairline.

also yes minoxidil foam is very good for styling for me as well. Its like a better mousse.
