Just Started Going Bald & Using Rogaine. I Want To Stop

I am 24 years old. Just a few months ago I started losing hair around the hairline. It was coming out at rapid pace and just this December after checking out my hairline (still in decent shape) I decided to be preventive and begin using rogaine.

I have been using rogaine for approx 3.5 weeks and just started shedding like crazy. The hairline area experienced the worst shedding. I find myself at a cross roads. I think I began using the rogaine too soon because everyone else around me thought my hairline was the same/or in good shape.

I want to stop using rogaine & perhaps use it later on when I actually start going really bald. BUT I am concerned about the hair I had loss during this shedding process.

WILL THEY GROW BACK ON THEIR OWN OR WILL THEY REQURE ROGAINE TO COME BACK????

They will grow back on their own in a few months.

@Roberto grazie. Super worried I jumped the gun so that is reassuring. Would much rather gracefully go bald (a receding hair line can actually look kinda cool) and then worry about the smelly, itchy rogaine later when I really need it

Do not stop thebrogaine, the shed is a proven sign of response to the drug when it comes to minoxidil. It's the shedding on propecia that wasn't mentioned in the studies.

@G.I. Joey: I've seen that a rogaine has the ability to after all hairs in the telogen phase. Hairs could be in the yelp gen phase for 1) male pattern baldness 2) telogen effluvium 3) the natural telogen phasse

I've had great hair for the past 3 years. I experienced a very stressful time in life from june to October. I am wondering if A) this is the normal yelp gen phase or b) the yelp gen effluvium caused by recent stressful months.

Both father and uncle went bald but not until 30ish
