Coming back for that update, I'm 3 and a half-ish months on generic proscar 5mg, cutting them into 8 pieces for approximately 0.6 mg every day, so far I have regrowth all along my hairline, tons on my temple area and my general shedding seems to have stopped for the most part, i've had no big shed like many people report and didn't have much shedding before finasteride anyway, just a slowly receding hairline. Sides are probably a slightly lower libido, but I think it's worth it.
