Just some Qustions...sort of

Hey im new here and im not sure if im going bald? I mean i have a receeding hairline but im not sure if its always been that way or not. I have really curly hair so loads of it falls out regularly, its all tangled so im wondering is it falling out or are the everday hairs i lose just getting caught and then falling out at once in the shower? Im 21 and my dad is losing hair but still has quite a bit left but all my uncles are completely bald. any advice?

post some pics, or go see a dermatologist or hair transplant specialist. they will tell you for sure, i recommend a hair transplant specialist as they know the most about it. if it turns out you are losing some hair, he can prescribe propecia for you if you wish to try and stop the loss.

Thanks for the reply! Ive been thinking about going to see someone about it but im almost afraid to, like most people here i dont wanna lose my hair and i certainly dont wanna lose it at 21

i am in a similar situation. i am 22, and was worried right around my 22nd birthday that my hair didn't look quite like it used to, so i went to see a hair transplant guy and he gave me propecia. i still have a lot of hair and i doubt anybody suspects that i would need to be on a hairloss drug, but looking at pictures i certainly think it could help as my hair has gotten thinner over the years, albeit very gradually. if i were you i would go see a Doctor, trust me you will feel better i know i did.
