I hope it was just a joke hopewas. Bruce gives us a lot of information and what I like most of him is that he has always remained decent. Yes the site has become better the last month or so, but it would have been better if people like you hopewas would be more serious.

Have a nice day

I think that when the board cycles through posters every period they sort of take on the personalities of the newest and most active members. Very few stay the same, except for HairLossTalk.com, brucelee, etc.

this place has its ups and downs...

i like seeing the new people come in and mix it up a little. this new chat crew we have here is interesting.

we might need dead prez 2.0 to come in and just rile everybody up again... that was great.

I agree, but...

The hard thing is there are some 2000 people who are registered to this site, and they all give good input, albeit negative sometimes.

But there is so much to sort through, so much advice and so many different regimens. I'm an engineer, so please excuse me for this dweeby recommendation. But I think we need some sort of matrix or something to track people's progress better.

Okay, the point of this site isn't to track progress. It's a support group for the most part. But it would be interesting to see, I think. All these threads start with some good questions, like how old poeple are, when the started balding, etc. But then only 50 poeple answer before it is moved from page one of the gen discussion thread, and never gets completed.

What say you HairLossTalk.com, should we somehow organize all the info? This site kicks *** either way. It's easy to log in, post a reply, do a search, all that good stuff. I would like to see more photos and a better, more organized way of determining what works, however.

Just a thought. Good luck guys.

It takes more than a nice comment to get me visually aroused at least a nice anecdote or metaphor! Lol. No i aint going anywhere, i just get fed up at times with the negativity that you often encounter on the various hairloss forums. All this bald on bald peeps hatin` makes Zimmy do the sad face..

Well you know what im going to say to that. The only way we can really know if something works is if a controlled clinical trial is done on it and someone is actually documenting hair counts. Everything else is so subjective. A guy could actually have increased hair counts but be in a bad mood one day and his minds eye will tell him his hair looks worse. He may then come here and post that saying that Such and Such doesn't work or isnt working. The next day his hair may look PHENOMENAL and he may be so happy that he doesnt even come online that day.

What happens? Everyone see's the post he left, doesn't realize it was inaccurate, and never knows that he felt it WAS working the very next day because of his mood.

But we can definitely work on getting anectodal evidence by this method I think. I am just really cautious about it because of the almost 1000% room for error, total inaccuracy, unverifiability of the persons sticking to the regimen correctly, and subjectivity of opinion.

Look at his signature. Obviously he thinks its sh*t because he hasn't figured out how to use the "View My Regimen" feature yet! Once he gets that down he wont be so grumpy.
