what about LLLT?
Waste of time. finasteride and nizoral will do the job. LLLT may or may not have some efficacy for some people but its evidently not at the level of even the secondary big 3 options (minoxidil and keto shampoo).

I never understood why keto is regarded as one of the big 3. There is only one paper (an obscure japanese study) for keto, and it had a small sample size.Waste of time. finasteride and nizoral will do the job. The thing with keto shampoo is that it drys the hell out of your hair, and ruins its texture.
Guys depending on what you see , is it like bad or manageable from this point on? Like how long can i retain it (what I have now) with treatment. And is there any medication where i don't have to risk the sexual side effects but which works?
Right I see. Thanks a lot for helping out man. I know nothing about anything related to this so this is a big help.No if finasteride doesn't work for you you're fucked apart from the option of transplants, which obviously you will need more than one as your loss progresses. The standard finasteride dose is 1mg, personally I use 0.25mg and it works fine, as is suggested by the doseage to efficacy curve shown in various studies. So lowering the doseage is always an option if you have issues.
It is very manageable if you tolerate finasteride. Chances are you will maintain for at least a decade on it.
You are all but a bunch of BDD/low hairline obsessed retards. How old were you when you went bald?
Thanks for all that info man. And yeah i hope you're right about my hair. Tbh I am very hesitant when it comes to medications with side effects like that. I'm not sure where my hairline stands so it's best to visit a derm. But I more or less know, that no matter how vain or superficial I might be like you put it earlier lol, which I am not denying I'm not, i probably would rather embrace it than risk my sexual function. Even if it's a small risk, I probably won't do it. My body is more important imo. Besides i can grow a great beard, so I will always have that going for me hahaYou are all but a bunch of BDD/low hairline obsessed retards.
The guy is a NW0 with no sign of male pattern baldness, and you want to put him on a drug that messes with your hormones for no reason for the rest of his life?
5ar-inhibitors,aside from blocking the conversion of T to DHT they also catalyse the following conversions:
@Mark95 Your hair is perfect,man....You do realise that you're not 16 anymore,right?...
- Cholestenone → 5α-Cholestanone
- Progesterone → 5α-Dihydroprogesterone
- 3α-Dihydroprogesterone → Allopregnanolone
- 3β-Dihydroprogesterone → Isopregnanolone
- Deoxycorticosterone → 5α-Dihydrodeoxycorticosterone
- Corticosterone → 5α-Dihydrocorticosterone
- Cortisol → 5α-Dihydrocortisol
- Aldosterone → 5α-Dihydroaldosterone
- Androstenedione → 5α-Androstanedione
- Testosterone → 5α-Dihydrotestosterone
Your face and body changes as you become a man,and your forehead changes as well...But this is not balding.
