still not seeing much of anything. I think my hairline is a little better but crown is still very thin and I see nothing midscalp either. I had a huge amount of hairs transplanted (12-13,000) and my hair is incredibly thick/coarse AND wavy. Every surgery I see on people with my hair type results in spectacular results (I have hair similar to Indians)

What would you guys do if you were me? Is it normal for growth to start at 5 month mark?

I'd be a little disappointed if I saw nothing after 5 months, but it can happen, everyone is different.

I myself am a month post op and whilst still extremely bald, am already seeing some hairs popping through. I am on 5% Kirkland Minoxidil, Biotin tablets and 1mg Finasteride though, whether that's helping speed up the process or not I'm unsure. Keep the faith and good luck.

From what i read it should be looking better now, but I guess it could take longer, or the hairs didn't successfuly root and in that case it may be a botched job.....I'd ask the surgeon if I were you I mean you paid him right?

At 5 months they should have grown and what you get is thickening of what’s there. Sounds like a failed transplant
