So I've been agonizing over whether I should start Propecia (or finasteride) for 2 years now. So I booked a consulting session with Dr. Hasson from Hasson & Wong. I'm 22 and he told me this:
- MOST of his patient have no problems with finasteride
- The Doctor himself has taken it for 13 years and fathered 3 children on it
- He did not deny PFS but said it is EXTREMELY rare
I feel better about taking finasteride but everytime I see this board, it makes me not wanna start finasteride. I have no idea what to do...is it dangerous to even try??? How could that be. I mean he gave me generic finasteride so its not like hes on Merck's payroll but I'm just so conflicted...
