Just 20 and thinning hair. Treatment suggestions welcome!

Well I suppose I had best just jump right into it. I'm 20, just, and my hair has begun noticeably thinning. My hairline hasn't seemed to recede much, but I have had a high hairline for as long as I can remember. I noticed (or was actually quite jarringly alerted to the thinning by a co-worker) about 6 months ago, but it may have been going for as long as 12. As yet all I've noticed is thinning hair; no dramatic loss to be seen.

As it stands I am not currently undergoing any particular treatment, other than trying some of the natural alternatives (to thicken hair, not preventing or messing with DHT in any way). I'm exercising frequently, eating well (mostly vegetarian, keeping my protein and iron up), using a biotin shampoo (begun recently) etc. It is too soon to begin seeing results from these things, but I understand there is only so much I can do before going to something actually proven to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to begin treatments, what treatments work, and if there are any natural or side-effect-free (think this may be a vain hope) treatments? I've stopped styling my hair as aggressively as I previously did and now style it to hide the thinning hair as much as possible. No one really notices (read: comments) on it yet, but I'd really like to nip this in the bud.

And finally thanks so much if you made it to this point, this community seems quite good.
