Jumping From 0.5mg finasteride To 1.25 Mg, Is It Ok?

Ive been taking 0.5mg finasteride ED for the past 1 and a half month and ive gotten no sides. I was wondering whether it would be ok to jump from my current dosage to 1.25mg as proscar is much cheaper. Would it be possible to develop sides with this increment or would things stay the same? Should i cut the proscar pills into 8th's instead to remain at the same dosage or should i go with 1.25mg?

The only real side effect i have from finasteride is lethargy, i notice a difference between 1 and .5mg in terms of my energy levels. Why dont you try it, and if you feel anything uncomfortable just switch back to .5
