Maybe he started taking vitamins. Or quit smoking/masterbating.

He probably saw his idol, Bill Shatner, looking great sporting a mop on his head and decided it was probably worth the initial ridicule/attention.

Wonder what his old pal the patron saint of baldness thinks about his recent move (Larry David)?

What you see on my head is a really good, semi-permanent hairpiece. By semi-permanent I mean that I can wear it constantly for weeks at a time, if I so choose. I can swim, shower, work out -- whatever. It stays on. Or I can take it off any time of any day I choose. The reason it looks thin is that I challenged my designer to make me a piece that would look very similar to the way I did 10 years ago. So, it looks like a guy who is losing his hair and isn't an artificial mop of hair that I never had. The designer was dubious at first but he actually loves the look now. And the fact is that we are still playing around with the shape and density to make it as flattering and natural looking as we can.

In a few weeks, I may very well talk about who makes this system so that you can pursue it with them if you wish. But in general, for those men and women who have hair loss issues, I can tell you that these systems have become very easy to wear, very easy to handle and the adhesives that have developed give you great flexibility in regard to how often and how long you wear your system.

And he didn't looked that way 10 years ago

I'm all for wig wearing acceptance. Would be great if males had the same options that females have to hide any cosmetic problem

Bless you Jason Alexander for not hiding and coming straight forward with the wig! i wish more Hollywood actors would follow on that, it might make wigs a legit solution in peoples minds.

Ironically, with hair his character "George" probably wouldnt be as popular. On the other hand, Seinfeld was so big that he's universally known as a baldie and the piece is immediately detectable (no matter how good it is).

Hmm, different situation he's a multimillionaire Hollywood actor.
Its an image/looks obbsessed industry people see that as enhancing his career, but even still the majority of people will slate him for this. Plus as a NW6/7 there was no other option than to be open about it. I'm sure alot of people will call this a mid life crisis!

Now imagine if he was just a regular guy doing a ordinary job. People would think its ridiculous that he cant just accept his natural state.

However he does look about 20% better overal which is a massive difference.

Am I the only one who thinks that this may be a transplant, and not a wig? :dunno:

While watching Seinfeld I always thought he could achieve a great hair transplant result, because his head is relatively small (good donor/recipient zone proportion) and he had thick, curly donor hair.

EDIT: Well, just googled it, it was a hair system after all.

I think it looks good. He sounds reasonably happy about it and from that twitlong - his wife is happy to go along too. That's what matters really.
Good for him.

Just need a CYE episode now where Larry berates him for wearing a wig.

It's honestly no big deal for me and hope it's not for you either."
