Wayne Rooney of Manchester United started using it this year. It was banned in Football (soccer for the Americans) but the English Premier League changed its rule this past off season so Rooney started using it.

YES beckham was thinning back then...and it was surprisingly fast. Right when he started playing for LA and all the pap pics came out it was very noticeable. When he was playing for milan and he scored a goal and his team mates celebrated by rubbing his head, you could see that he tried hard to avoid that.
