Please don't laugh at this, it might be just my imagination, but I don't think it is. But I have noticed many balding men on the forums, badling celebs and balding people in general have frown lines / wrinkles on their foreheads...

So could that mean people who are balding also have a lack of collagen production. What is everyone elses view on this, I know some members on this forum have already discuessed collagen...

I am just 21 and I have more laugh lines and lines on my forehead than my dad who is 50 and a NW1....Recently my body hair has thickened up as well and the last time this happened,I went through a severe shed but luckily I am on the big 3.

I guess DHT in some way fucks up your skin and I guess I have relatively high levels of DHT and a susceptible scalp as well.Anyway my skin looks like that of a 30 year old and ever since I hit puberty things have gone really bad for me. :sobbing:

Very interesting, I have huge wrinkles on my forehead as you mentioned. I have pretty bad skin in general, started using retin-a on my face. Im even considering using my derma roller on m forehead. Anyways, interesting thought, worth pursuing imo.

I'm 42 now but I get remarks on how I look 26 or 27, generally. (People who are in their 20s might say I look "30" but that's OK. LOL!)

Indeed. I still have all my thick straight black hair along with the same juvenile hairline. So I'm sure collagen is a factor in all of this.

I thought I was losing hair, maybe I took my hair for granted, but after alternating shampoos and going back to certain hairstyles...it's still the same density after all.

After researching the classic symptoms here at Hair Loss Talk, I don't have them. I've got a healthy scalp, no shedding or any of that. I guess I'm OK.

Therefore I will soon get rid of my blog here. Nothing for me to add at this site. Even if I start to lose in my later 40s, why should I care at that point any how?

I'm looking at your profile pic, and feel so envious. Your hair is AMAZING for your age...

Anyway, I am really young and think buying collagen supplements will benefit mny skin and may also benefit my hair in some way.

Maybe it's because balding people wrinkle their forehead a lot so they can see their hair in the mirror? :woot:
