A couple of months ago I cut my hair really short and it hit me like a tonne of bricks just how thin I'd gone on top. Like you can actually see skin from the front view. I became really self conscious and started using Regaine foam again as I'd had success with it in the past. For the past 2 months I've been using the foam twice a day and was convinced it was working miracles. However yesterday I cut my hair just as short again since I was confident it was much thicker. Nope, all it was was my hair getting longer and making it appear thicker. One thing I will say is that I haven't lost anymore hair so I think in that since Regaine is at least doing something.
I'm at the age now where I'm kind of stuck as to what path I should take. If I'm able to keep what I've got now then I can certainly put up with how it looks when my hair is longer since the thinning is not that noticeable. However I would really like to get back to having a decent head of hair although I might just be frustrating myself in the long run. I am about to start adding Nizoral to my routine so I'm hoping that's gonna make the Regaine more effective I don't know though, I've heard mixed things about it.
Would be curious - How many of you have noticed Regaine/Rogaine foam being more effective after the first couple of months? I'm still holding out hope that the best is yet to come.
