It has been 3 years since I took my first dose. Since last year, the dosage has been reduced to about 5 months (just over 4 months), and I have only consumed one box of 1mg, 30-pill finasteride.
The amount of hair can only be maintained, which is far less than the amount of hair loss three years ago, but it won't be much more. Just keeping it, when the hair is greasy, the appearance of hair loss will be more obvious. If you don't wash your hair one day, it will become very greasy the next day.
Regarding side effects,. Morning erections sometimes occur, sometimes there is no erection, and the hardness of the erection is somewhat weaker than before taking the medication
In terms of psychological state and anxiety, I have undergone a very noticeable change, which is my fear of heights. Of course, even before taking the medication for the first time, I still had a fear of heights, but it was far from causing anxiety. For example, the anxiety caused by paying excessive attention to heart rate when climbing, and the fear of heights even when looking up at the sky from within a building. Of course, there are too many things in life that can make people feel anxious
I am unable to determine whether these side effects are caused by the medication, as my current living conditions are not optimal. Over the past year (possibly longer), I have been getting around 3-5 hours of sleep, experiencing limited sun exposure, decreased physical activity (especially strength training), unhealthy diet, and so on.
I usually sleep for at least 6 hours, typically 7 hours, and occasionally wake up early. I have a habit of staying up late every day.
I plan to go to the urology department for some examinations and will consult a doctor recently. I intend to further reduce the dosage to approximately 1 mg per week (0.5 mg on Wednesday and Sunday), and then discontinue using finasteride at a certain point and switch to other treatment methods. We also need to make changes to our living conditions.
Consume 60-90 milligrams of zinc daily

That's roughly it.

With an antiandrogenic effect, hair should become dry and not greasy. If it is greasy, it is an androgenic effect.

I take 25 mg of spironolactone and it keeps my hair cleaner longer. I can wash my hair once every 7 days.

If I don't wash my hair one day, it feels like it's all sticking together the next day

Every other day, taking one-third of a tablet, the amount of hair loss has noticeably increased.
It has been roughly over a month since the dosage was changed.

The thing is that finasteride is not a biological human hormone and simply blocks 5-alpha reductase with its presence, while another hormone, progesterone, cannot pass through 5-alpha reductase to transform into the hormone of calm and sleep! Do not block 5-alpha reductase with finasteride, use progesterone, which is the only biological human hormone. Therefore, your sleep is no more than 5 hours.
