Good afernoon guys, newbie here when it comes to hair pieces but I scheduled an appointment or consultation & went in and the lady said she can order me a piece that will match my hair and make it thin to match as well. Im thinkin is it possible to just attach a front lace to cover the hair transplant I did? Its been 2 years and I still never felt satisfied & it had me insecure for 2 years & it never really gave me the look i was going for since the fue grows out in a specific way that will never be the same as your real hair and the hair line has always looked and felt artificial so i have been depressed & after my latest cut and going crazy and shaving off the hair plugs, I would really like to get a front piece to cover everything, the rest of my head still has plenty of hair however, last summer I put oil and blow dried my hair to fry heaven & i have never really recovered since. My naturally thin hair has become 10x more fragile & destroyed for the past 9months but mostly for the front 1/3 of my head above my forehead because that was where i burnt my hair. I will attach images. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
Do you guys agree with me that a frontal hair piece will end my misery? & is it possible to make it look undetectable & like nothing is new with my haIr? Thanks so much.
Also last thing, i kinda just recently have been seeing the sexiest babe on the planet with all the perfect things that make me actually like this girl. I havent had a girlfriend since the fue I did 2 years ago & i think the fue had a major part in my self confidence when it came to that. Not that I wasnt considered atteactive to girls its just that I wasnt comfortable with myself as much anymore. The girlfriend 2 years ago was a total babe as well. Now this girl has seen my hair & she has even felt where the hair plugs have been shaved recently when in bed since they are starting to grow back. Do u think its still better to go ahead with the hair system?
Now money isnt an issue because if there is a solution to my problems i will do anything & it will cost me around 1100$ at la jolla hair clinic to get this procedure taken care of. I think the lady ordered a full hair piece for me but can i force her to cut it and just use the front partial hair lace technique?

Why would you need a hair system?

GO to a competent surgeon and have them dense pack that area.

I have been in your shoes, and you are making a big mistake. A good surgeon will give you the density you need.

Thanks for your input shookwun. I dont know. I cant achieve the hair I want with fue & I simply do not have the patience to go and wait anither year to see the progress from dense packing the area, a front lace hair system would make me love life again after 2 years of suffering.

It wont make you love life, if anything make you more self conscious around others.

basically have a full head of hair.

I was in your situation after my first hair transplant. but then again I have thin donor. thought I was getting no where because of my situational result, but after having another 2800 grafts inbetween my existing hair I am so glad I went ahead with the second transplant.

I wore a hair system because of the same issue you are going with.

Any way it's your choice and I am telling you from experience its not worth it. To restore your hair is such a minimal surgery and would leave amazing results under the right doctor.

Thanks for the amazing response & it is mind blowing that i am not the only one who has suffered from something like this since you are talking from experience.

I agree with you that if 2800 grafts were inputted then it would make it look better, no doubt, but that means more donor hairs need to be taken meaning a bigger scar in the back & meaning another 3000$ operation with over a year to see the results. I just want some hairs glued to cover the transplant & i dont mind making this decision and sporting it my whole life. Even though i know the hairs on the front of my head are fake I know when i take pics my hair line will not look artificial and i will generally be less self conscious as i will know that everyone looking will be admiring instead of seeing my atrocious transplant and hair cut and think damn......

Hi Oliver

I actually think your hair looks OK, and I couldn't really recommend you going for a system. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you are obsessing about an imperfection which most people would consider immaterial in the overall scheme of things. The transplant is not perfect, but overall you look good, and the impression in the round is of a young guy with a full head of thick glossy healthy hair. Personally I wouldn't go back for another transplant - I think there is a real possibility you will be hacked about and end up with a worse result - I have heard that story more than a few times. My recommendation is that you focus on enjoying what you have. You look good, you have a fine new girl who knows about your hair, shortcomings and all, and is still into you. That is a nice situation to be in.

For completeness the answer is yes, it is possible to make you a system which looks undetectable & like nothing is new with your haIr. But will it end your misery? - I would say no; that is more about getting a better sense of perspective about your true situation and the good things you have going for you.
