My confidence level in my hair has risen so much ever since beginning finasteride, and it's not even like I've been on it long enough for it to do ANYTHING at all (a week). It's just the feeling of knowing you're doing something, and you could finally have some hair back. Like, every day, I part my hair, and I swear I see more hair, even though it's impossible, y'know? Guess it's easy to say when you're not that bad off in the first place, but the confidence level has risen alot which is worth the price of Propecia alone

Yea, same here. I rest a little more easy considering I am on propecia even though the sheds are problematic. I was reading somewhere on an experiment conducted that even some people on placebo had regrowth which "may be contributed to the workings of the mind." I'll find the page again hopefully.

The thing to remember though guys is that finasteride is not a cure for baldness. It just reduces the affects of male pattern baldness, it slows it down to a manageable level. But I guess the earlier you start treatment the better the results will be. I only wish this damn treatment was out when I was 25. I would have been totally OK by now. Oh well. I'm still happy with what I got though. I will make an update soon with pics and all!!

Well something boosted then buried my confidence yesterday as well.I saw this softball player who was bald in the grocery store,but he was with this hot as girl.Considerably out of his league(even without the baldness).
Wierd part is i see this sh*t all the time everywhere i go.In the malls,at the bestbuy,in a Barnes in Noble.I cant get sh*t and these shmocks are getting these hot girls(dont know these girls IQ's,could be very low)and in the process achieving hero status.
While im in the corner beating off about how i cant get these hot chics(although they could be stupid i dont know).I mean do the girls have low self-esteems or are there actually girls in their twenties that actually care about a guy's personality?

it doesnt always matter what you look like to girls. you just have to meet there needs. ect.-money/spending time/father figure/10 inch c***
my sisters boyfriend is a N4 and 8 years older than her. im not a pervert but shes not ugly and neither are her friends!!! hes not rich, not tall, and doesnt drive a "rich mans" car-hes just a nice guy whos always there for her. personallity is key.

I know it isn't a cure for baldness, but there's alot of people seeing great results on it, and I mean, I'm only 18 and still have large amounts of hair. I mean, my loss has been SO slow, I've barely lost any since last year, so I figure on finasteride I should do splendid! I guess it's easier to be confident about results when you're not a NW3+... if I was totally bald ontop, I'd just shave'r and not hold out for results, personally...
