Itchy scalpe all over, not just male pattern baldness areas

I have a itchy, occasionally stinging scalp, and its all over my head even on non male pattern baldness areas (sides and back), though its more frequent on top of my head.

Do you think its seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp? I got diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis on my face already.
My scalp is sensitive and itchy enough now, where it feel uncomfortable when I lay my head on the pillow at night.

There is no denial, I do have male pattern baldness, my temples have gone back and even the forelocks have thinned in a few spots, but I also have the condition described above

See a Doctor. If you got that, you'll need an anti fungal topical or possibly steroidal. Nizoral is a good over the counter one to try in the mean time.

I have had the exact same problem, as long as I can remember..way before I had any thinning or recession, im talking as far back as junior high days. nizoral and the 2% keto prescription help marginally but no big improvement for me. Ive also used a Kenalog spray that a dermatologist prescribed, which helps a lot for immediate relief, but the problem has always came back in my case...might be worth a shot, maybe it would work for you. It is pretty cheap.

I don't know I heard SD can impede hair growth if unchecked, but then in that case, you d have to have thinning all over and not just the hairline. I have increased shedding, I find tons of hairs on my desk, while a couple of years ago It was a much rarer thing, but that might just be male pattern baldness.

Same. My hair stings more than it itches but It's on the top more and less around the sides and back and stuff. Also has prolonged soreness.
