Hi all. I’ve been using Kirkland foam minoxidil for around 5-6 years now. I’ve never had an issue with it. However a few weeks ago I noticed itchy red bumps on my scalp. I discontinued all my hair products and my dermatologist prescribed me some antibiotics. After about 10 days the irritation cleared completely. I began applying the foam again every other day once a day and sure enough the irritation came right back. Once again I discontinued it and waited a few days for it to clear. I then tried rogaine foam and while the irritation isn’t nearly as bad as it was with Kirkland the itching and red bumps did return. Has anybody experienced anything like this? I could understand if maybe I was new to the product and it caused irritation, but I’ve been using this stuff for years with zero issues. I’m just afraid of having to stop altogether and losing ground! Any advice?

Its not a foam. May not help but if you stop you will go through a massive shed. I would also use Nizoral shampoo.I’ll give it a shot. But what’s the difference?
