It doesn't seem fair that I'm losing my hair at age 20.

My anxiety had to contribute at least a little bit. I have generalized anxiety disorder, and have been incredibly tense almost every moment for ten years.

It's confusing and frustrating. It started at 16 years old, I was so young and careless about it, I thought people would be nicer about it and not comment saying mean things. I thought since there's so many bald men, no one would care. So I was ready to accept it, but I was so wrong. Then it got worse at 18,19, 20 and more and more people started commenting negatively on it. That's what made me care abut hair loss, people's comments, bald jokes, my appearance being affected, being the only balding young guy in any group of guys in their late teens-mid 20s, so much for male pattern baldness being "common", I found out that word is very relative. More like common on guys in their late 20s+. Not when I had it.

Well good luck, search these forums, they are helpful.
