Hi, I'm just starting Finasteride and I have a quick question about hair loss rates before and after using the drug. I have a very slow and non-aggressive receding hairline. It's been NW2 for about 10 years with only minor recessions.
If I go on Finasteride for an extended period, is there any evidence that if I suddenly stop, my hair loss rate will be suddenly faster or more aggressive than it was before?
By the way, I am aware if you gain any hair on Finasteride, or if it prevents any loss, you will lose that very quickly after stopping. However, what I am wondering is could I be worse off by starting and stopping it compared to never starting at all?
