After 2 years on regaine 5%, propecia 9 months (stopped in August) and 8 months on nizoral since now, I havent seen any result in my temples... I am Nw2 and I have stopped the hairloss completely but I do not have any regrowth too. What do you suggest to me? Should I skip to xandrox? Is it worth it? I stopped propecia because the sides were heavy and I did not see any further result apart from minoxidil.

hello,

how do you know the hairloss stopped due of minoxidil and not due of propecia?

The temporal area is by far the hardest area to acheive regrowth. Trying XandroX seems a good an option as any.

I know that minoxidil stopped hairloss and not propecia because I first started minoxidil and after 1 year I added propecia. And my hairloss stopped completely 3 weeks after I started with minoxidil.

minoxidil did the same to me. Stopped shedding completely after a couple of weeks. No shedding now, except I found about 3 hairs in the last month on my pillow. No problem here.

as i understand it minoxidil cannot stop hairloss as it doesnt work that way. it may seem as if it has stopped it due to the growth of minoxidil dependant hair, but that is all it does. this is my understanding of the situation, feel free to shoot me down/flame/pillage my village etc, but as i only take the opinions of like 6 people on this forum seriously i dont think it will do much. aforementioned 6 people will remain nameless as they might try to touch my sister in her bathing suit area if they thought i might allow it out of respect for their hairloss guru status

Funny, my temples seem to be responding better than my crown area. Im talking new hair and thick baby hair that hasn't been around for over a decade. THe side hair above the ears has pushed forward and have shape now instead of being staright up and down like before.
