Is using more 5% minoxidil as effective as 12.5% minoxidil?

If I use 2ml per application of 5% minoxidil.. is this as effective as using lesser amounts of a higher concentration?

using a larger volume of a lesser concentration probably wont be as effective and will just increase the chances of the minoxidil dripping to places it doesnt need to be.

I personally think these hugely high concentrations of minoxidil shouldnt really be neccessary for most people unless you've used %5 faithfully for over a year with no results
