Hasson and Wong's formula has proved somewhat successful in a study done by an Italian University; however, the study also showed people had side effects so it is plausible that the drug went systemic.

These side effects, were they as freqent as reported in finasteride study ? Higher or lower

What about it's effectiveness ? Also can you answer my previous question

When it comes to topical finasteride... What you could do is to get any minoxidil, presumably the one of those fancier ones (i.e. Lipogaine) and dissolve 5mg finasteride tables to make it a 0,1% finasteride solution. I use oral finasteride and add 1/2 of a 5mg tab to 10ml of Lipogaine.

Oral finasteride is certainly better, particularly when you have longer hair :)

I was looking into Hasson and Wong though. Not sure if finasteride will be absorbed like the way you have told me.

I keep short hair or at least use to now that my temples have receded I have no style and absolutely look stupid

Don't want to start a new thread that relates with same topic.

So, should I start with topical finasteride? RU, CB or something else ?

finasteride is meant to be taken orally.

According to Hanson and Wong topical is working well on patients and it's also prescribed in few countries by doctors as I read on this forum.

finasteride is meant to be taken orally.

It was formulated to be taken orally, but it works topically. If you look at old posts by bryan he says merk applied for a topical patent on finasteride and went oral because most men wanted the convenience of a pill over applying a topical each day. Makes good sense to me.
I think topical finasteride formulated right would certainly work its just a question of how are the sides compared to results? Maybe it ends up being easier to just take orally still I dont know
