Is This Thinning Hair Or Just Fine Hair?

Hey guys, I’m a little bit worried about my hair, I know a lot of 18 year olds are paranoid about perhaps nothing ,such as myself but it’s not the fact that I’m worried I look bald, I’m worried I will soon or will one day and just would like another opinion on certain things.
Since everyone I speak too treats me like an idiot and says I shouldn’t worry.
I’ve noticed recently that I can see my scalp through my hairline and a few cms back from it, this is especially noticeable in sunlight or flash/ bright lights, however it I slightly noticeable in regular lighting.

Is this thinning, or just fine hair that looks thin under the lift ?

I think about it way too and spend way too much time worried about if people are thinking the same as me.

I'm no pro but I was far worse off at 18. My hair was noticeably receding. I see no receding hairline at all. Will your hair probably be less thick as you get older? Sure! Are you balding right now? I highly doubt it. Come post a pic at 25 and let's compare to this one. Until then enjoy your youth my friend.

It's hard to say because I've seen older guys seem like thinning in the front but that hair goes nowhere. Do you think that's got worse?

I have seen it slightly get thinner over the past year to 2 years I have photos when I was 16 in direct sunlight and you can’t see through nearly as much, however I used to always have my hair much shorter and I do know that my hair always felt a lot more dense when it was short, so I’m not sure if it would look the same if I cut it nowadays.
And even though I’ve noticed it being more thin it isn’t more than the 1-2 cms max behind my centre of my hairline.
But it still annoys me quite a bit because it’s summer in my country and everything I go outside I’m thinking about it.

Probably starting to recede a bit. Not necessarily balding.
