Is this the start of male pattern baldness or is this simply a mature hairline? Don't know what to do

Hello all,

I have posted before, and I am posting again just to get some more feedback compared to last time.
I am 22 years old and will be 23 this year and for as long as I can remember I have been worried about going bald.

My family history certainly isn't ideal as my dad's side has a lot of genetic hairloss but my mother's side is certainly a bit more promising.
I have been the doctor countless times expressing my concern and she has refused to prescribe me anything or refer me anywhere... and I know some of you may think that answers my question right away, but I definitely know for a fact my hairline has changed over the last few years and while I know thats normal I certainly believe that I could be going bald, and I don't want that to happen.

My questions are: Do I have anything to worry about, is this male pattern baldness or is my hairline "maturing" and should I truly push to seek more help?

Here are pics to compare.

Obviously there's a difference, but what should I do?

I also get that my situation could be a heck of a lot worse, but I am young and I would appreciate the feedback. Please and thanks.

Lol no no thats okay yeah I posted two of them... that first was from a while ago.

I have been keeping an eye on it obviously but as mentioned my doctor refuses to do anything because she insists I am fine. It's frustrating.

Well most of us have temples where the hair rubs in a different direction. Your hair looks good.

Truth is male pattern baldness can hit you at any time in your life. What's your family history involving hairloss?

Yeah I know which is why I am worried.

My dad's side is poor. He's completely bald and began losing his hair quite young, I would say around his mid thirties...

My dad's dad was the same, and out of my father's three brothers, only one has a good set of hair... the youngest one. All the others went bald.

My mom's side is better. My uncle who is in his mid 50's still has solid hair but his crown is thin. My mom's dad still had decent hair in his mid 60's as well.

Just from looking at myself, I seem to have inherited my mom's hair a bit more... as she has a cowlick and I do as well, but as mentioned I definitely see a difference in my hair compared to a year ago. My temples are higher.
