Is this normal?

Ive been using rogaine for 1-2 weeks on my hairline and the skin where I have been applying it is peeling really bad. I am darker skinned so I have a big white line where my hairline is and it looks pretty bad. Its brings more attention to my hairline which sucks. Is this peeling normal and will the white line eventually fade after a little while or is this a bad reaction to it??

I only have this peeling when I apply too much of the Rogaine or more often than 2 times a day. Nizoral shampoo makes a good job concerning scalp irritations but it doesn't help to prevent me from that skin peeling. I think 1ml is too much if you use it only on a comparatively small area like the temples.

The alcohol content of the minoxidil is drying out your skin. Using nizoral will help somewhat but you might have to try a minoxidil version that uses another base that is more skin friendly.
