I am a 21 year old male I recently have started to get my hair cut properly and started to use styling products. I have started to take notice and care for my hair this includes pictures. When I take a picture with a flash on it shows the back part of my head to be thin however this is not where my crown is, I also done a test where I vigerously rubbed my head for 60 seconds, afterwards I have tried this method but for not aslong of a time where sometimes no hair falls out and a maximum of two. These are the pictures from the two incidents. I am just asking for input as to whether I need to take action by going to the doctors.

The back of the head looks as though it could be showing very early signs , however , I'm not 100% sure ...

Hair wise ... I think if somebody not suffering from male pattern baldness rubbed their head vigorously for 60 seconds they would experience the same hair fall . Average person loses up to 100 hairs a day .
Thanks for the reply, in terms of the hair patch at the back could this be related to stress? I am asking this because for the past 4 months or so I have been experiencing high levels of stress. I would say this patch has been like that for a good couple of months and I have not seen any deteration in that area. I also do not have a receding hairline if that is any help, if this is the very early stages is there anything that I can do? -another side not this is the shortest I have had my hair and it is also texturisered.

IMO your hair isn't laying "right" in the first picture, post some more pictures of your crown and midscalp. My hair sometimes looks like that with flash on and when I post pictures of my hair I get laughed at on here.

It definitely can be stress. When that's the case, it takes usually three months AFTER the stressful
event before hair falls out. So don't rule stress out as the cause.

Thank you for all the reply's, I have taken some more pictures to see if they help as a side note I have always been knowing to have a funny crown if that any help and in the past few weeks my scalp has been on fire always itchy etc so I stopped washing my hair as frequently and it has died down, I also find now when I am in a stressful situation my scalp tends to start to tingly a lot another bit of information that might be of some help. I have attached some more pictures for any references

you are not balding, at least not in the back. As a teenager before I even thought about balding I would rub my hair to see how many hairs fell because it was fun. A sh!t load came out, I remember counting almost 100 once. At your age its not the crown you need to keep your eye on unless you have super aggressive hair loss which is unlikely given the mop on your head. Its the hairline.

Ikea desk? I have the same on only its all black.
