Any advice? I was worried so chopped down my hair. Is the varying density concerning?

Yes it is worth having a concern. Judging by the images provided, you have what seems to be a double crown, in addition to light thinning. What is your age? We generally have lower density in the middle scalp, best to watch for unevenness in the thin areas; thats a prime indicator of androgenic alopecia.

I just turned 24 a few months ago. Is there an expert I can get it checked by?

By the way bro, what exactly does having a double crown do? Is the risk greater?

Yes, you can get a consultation with a reputable dermatologist; preferably a male. Inquire specifically about a scalp biopsy, were they diagnose the scalp through magnification of the follicles/checklist of other hair loss causation. Good luck.

Thanks for the prompt responses man. Do you know how I would go about searching for a reputable dermatologist?
Would you be concerned?

A double crown is merely having two crown points rather than one; does not increase odds. However, with having a double crown, you can have overlapping crowns, where the hair pattern tends to intersect causing a sparse-looking appearance.

I'd start by imputing " Top dermatologist near me" in any search engine; select from the ones with nice reviews.

I already know what a Biopsy is. it is where they surgically remove a hair follicle. Trichoscopy was what I was referent to; obviously at dermatologist. Why couldn't you just correct what i've stated? Have I hurt your feelings in the past? Also, I said that because it was 6'0 clock in the morning; hadn't sleep since 12pm. I grew up on the principle " A true imbecile, is one that cannot productively add to a conversation". I feel as though your insecurity of losing hair, has opened a bitterness; making you prefer to call me out of my name, versus just correcting the statement.

You know here, I'll give you your 5th dislike anyways; your second account I imagine.

Hey man,
Really really appreciate the help. I'm going to try and schedule an appointment asap.
Do you think the light thinking could have always been here since it's around the scalp? Or is that not possible?
