Is This male pattern baldness?

Basically, I've always had an M shape hairline since I was born, it has NEVER been straight, which makes me rather unique. And when it comes to hairloss it's tough to decide if I'm going to lose it or not, basically my family doesn't have a history of balding, only thinning after the age of 45 or so. My dad/grandad all had an M shape hairline also.

What do you think? Firstly, here is my dads hairline in his early 40s (On a rollercoaster ride photo)

My hair when I was between age 5-9

Age 13

Age 18

Age 20 (Keep in mind, this was just after having my haircut and I went to one of those african barbers by mistake, and they edged all of the angles and everything to make my hairline straighter)

Age 23 (now, few hours after having a grade 1 fade into grade 5/15mm on top, theres a window on the left side hence the lighter hair)

What u guys think?

I just think my hairline has gone up slightly since the age of 18, my forehead looks wider and my temples seem to start higher up now? My head has sorta gone longer in the last 5 years it seems.

Your density looks good, I see the mild recession but it looks similar to your dads. If your crown is holding up and you're not thinning then I'd say your good, but just keep an eye on it. Definitely not something to worry about right now.

Ok thanks, I think my crown is the thickest part of my head, definitely thicker than the front so I think that's fine..My dad is 48 now, and his crown is mostly all covered with not much scalp visible. My brother has a similar hairline to me too but he has a very small round head so it doesn't look as exaggerated as mine, my sister also has the same M shape hairline only she still has all the thin baby hairs around her hairline because shes a girl obviously Is there any truth to "maturing hairlines?" If so, mine could be mistaken for recession because I already had an M shape hairline to begin with?

You have pictures so stop worrying about it. I dont see anything at all. If you did have it you have many many years before having to worry about it. By then it might be easier to treat more safely. You definitely dont want to take finasteride for the fun of it just for prevention. Someday maybe something safer will allow that, but for now just count your blessings.

How do I figure? Because my hairline has gone further back and has gone wider, and the hair above the temples (fringe) has gone thinner in the last 5 years and isn't as full.
