Is This Male Pattern Baldness Or Telogen Effluvium?

You can see that there is also thinning in my sideburn area,and my overall hair density has also decreased a lot.

The photos of my crown are each a month apart since I shaved it off!

I'm not any expert on Telogen Effluvium, but it certainly doesn't look like typical patterns for male pattern baldness. I would definitely check with a doctor. I've never seen someone losing hair on the sideburns areas without losing it some other more common areas.

Are you shedding hair? With Telogen Effluvium you will be shedding hair whilst with thinning you will get gradual miniaturization like normal Androgenetic Alopecia.

It's been more than 6 months and I'm still shedding a lot of hairs daily, some of the hairs I shed are thin from the root and thick from the end and some are thick from the root and thin from the end.

I haven't receded any, but my hair density has gone so less,I feel i have lost around 50% of my hair.

Unless you have had a significant change in your health/stress it would be hard to say it is Telogen Effluvium. Hair that falls out takes around 4 months or so to start growing again. You really need to see if you have any vellus hair on the areas that you have had loss. Do you have any general thinning in your family?

My father is a full blown NW5, yes I did have health issues recently. I was having a very high bp for over a year which I didn't knew off, can that be the cause ?

I have started believing its male pattern baldness but I don't know for sure, I can pull 5-10 hairs every time from my sideburns & from area above ears.

I don't think I have lost anything from the back. My sides aren't losing exactly like that but they are thinner and receding slightly. I have a buddy who is balding and his sides are thinner than yours. Losing from your sides is more common than people make it seem. Regardless I would make an appointment with a derm. Definitely have male pattern baldness also, so make sure to mention the sides or the dermatologist will just say male pattern baldness and pass you along right away.

I so wish that to be true but my hairloss is very weird, I have lost my volume but there is no visible Miniaturization except my loss at crown.

Possibly retrograde alopecia. Is the hair in your sideburns wire like? A different consistency to the rest of your hair? Normal male pattern baldness likely to follow.

Well my hair feels very dry and brittle to be honest on top, in my sideburns some of the hairs feel different like pubic hairs and at the back they feel normal shiny and soft
