I am 21 years old and until recently I have always had a thick head of hair- almost John Kerry-like. Now my hair still looks somewhat thick, but upon closer inspection in the light you can see places in the scalp in the front that show through. If I take a mirror to the top of my head I can see in the front that it's thinner than in the back. I was also born with a naturally high forehead and a widow's peak. I just don't understand where this hair is going. I don't find any in the shower, on the floor of my bathroom, or on my bed. I run my hands through my hair and very little hair comes out. Can anyone help me as to what this is and if any treatment is necessary?? Thanks. I'm starting to worry. I'm just beginning in the broadcast journalism field.
