Is this generic or brand?

Sorry guys, I definitely asked this on someone else's thread the other day but I can't seem to find it so thought I'd make my own. Feel free to move if it's in the wrong place. I was hearing people talk about pricing comparisons between generic and brand propecia. This Proscar is made by Merck so I thought it mustn't be generic, but the price (£1.76 for a 5mg tablet which can be cut into quarters) makes me think it can't be brand. Thanky guys.
