Every single topic on this "impact" sub forum is negative and doomer..

Where are the positive stories of guys meeting women who told them they love their "bald head".. and find it hot..

Where are the stories of women rubbing their hands through their buzzed hair. I had a gf a few years ago that said she liked my buzzcut head... but then again i was only Norwood 2.5 .. not Captain Picard level.. Maybe it's impossible for women to like pure skin on the top of the head.. I dunno yet.

this part of the forum is 50% young incels with relatively good hair for their age who are trolling about hairloss. they still have hair but its already over for them so they spend their freetime larping as bald guys and fabricate baldcuckfetish stories that have little to do with reality (even though being bald is surely not great which why i recommend to stop or reverse this state with medication, transplants, smp or hairpiece).

i dont see much future for these people sadly. instead of using their prime to do build some basis they are wasting it online. but maybe they are already too ugly (even with hair) so who knows.

then we have another 30-40% of these people who just enjoy being miserable and like to complain a lot without taking any effort to actually improve their situation. you know, these kind of people you get told to stay away from because they will drag you down (not even related to hairloss but in general).

anyways dont take too much here posted seriously.

The reality of baldness is different to what the magazines, social medias and "just shave it" gurus tell you. This is a snapshot of the miserable bald existence. Baldness robs most guys of their chances of getting married and having a family. It ruins many guys' social lives and there are guys who have been held down in their career because of it (it could definitely happen in some career areas like modeling). I created a topic about positivity but it was really about doing enjoyable stuff with the time that you save when you ldar. That's about as positive as it gets while being bald. Now, some guys get good treatment and are no longer bald. But they soon stop hanging around on these forums.

Serious question. Have you considered hiring a prostitute?

This generation will be hit particularily hard by balding. They spent their youth on the internet, occupying themselves with games and porns. They failed to start a family at the historically and evolutionary correct age (19-25) because their exposure to social media elevated their expectations in life, and settling down just seemed lame. Then baldness, a gene that gets stronger with every passing generation, has stricken them and the result is the body of an old man and the mind of a child. These men now roam the forums, blaming the perception of extremely high dating standards, pumping themselves full of hormonal drugs that usually don't even work, and withdrawing from life in general while completely blind to the fact that bald men who chose the correct path in life are living just fine.

Balding was not that big of a problem 20 years ago. And it won't be a problem in about 20 years from now.

In my opinion, it's pretty harsh to say "bald men who chose the correct path" when you are really talking about guys who settled down before they became bald. For many of us, the baldness hit quickly over a year or two.

balding does not hit in a year or two. There is usually a few years lag between a man noticing he is balding, and everyone else noticing. For most men on this forum now, it is their own fault for not paying attention or not understanding on how male pattern baldness works.

There are special cases though I understand, I do see some teenagers lose their hair fast. But there will be nothing special about it soon - as balding manifests at a younger age, there are many boys in elementry school right now who are unaware that they will lose their hair before their virginity. In about 5-10 years, when these boys start get get to 18 years old, I think that's when forums like this will become the worst. After that, the gene will die off, and we will probably not witness the next glut until about 50 years from now, where there is more likely to be a treatment for the disease.

Short answer to your thread question, Yes. People who use this constantly (everyday) are really lost and coping. I was there. After a while you realize a majority of ppl on are are not sane hence the “incel” threads. Theres some good not much.

Sounds like Brave New World....

How are we going to find a treatment for male pattern baldness when we are not even able presently to improve hair quality for males or females without female/HRT hormones?

You guys don't get it. You have the wrong skin environment and you have the wrong facial environment and if you start changing these things then you are well on the road of looking less masculine regardless. Maybe if we could somehow isolate the factors that say, Brad Pitt has but I get the feeling that most of these guys are now using either finasteride/duta plus min and other treatments that sort of work, maybe like PRP.

How do we treat guys with hair like this? Well, I can't get images to work or load for the second straight day but the point is that the hair question is far broader than just bald or not bald. There are guys with incredibly full heads of hair that look like absolute crap and even worse than being bald because of the unkempt aspect which is likely caused by DHT as well but why wasn't growth itself affected for him? We simply don't know

In 50 years they should come up with something that (reliably) prevents hair loss. There will be no cure, there will be no hair cloning. The current HRT treatment you suggest is still not a reliable cure for hair loss (a lot of people, if not most, still go bald on it) nor is it practical.

The fastest route to a cure for hair loss is an advancement in hair systems. That has been the fastest growing hair loss technology, they are already realistic they just gotta make them longer lasting. Maybe they can revisit synthetic hair transplants.

Having to wear a hair system is my worst nightmare, i have no problems with guys that go down that route and hope it brings their confidence back, but they are just not for me.

Well, we have no statistics but the current consensus is that pretty much everyone on HRT sees a cessation of hair loss but yeah, it is sort of so what, since dutasteride can achieve the same thing almost as reliably in a male context. But we at least have one more clue and that is possibly/probably diffuse thinners have a much better chance of recovery than people with extensive slick bald areas.

We note that virtually all MtF's who start HRT with full or full-ish heads of hair before transition more or less have their hair grow immaculately into female hair. How do I know? By looking at timelines pics. Over and over it is clear that the MtF hair is much nicer and of a different quality and anagen phase compared to their "male" hair. So, going by that, it might be that all hair already of terminal length simply changes seamlessly. Even @bridgeburn was not strictly bald in terms of slick areas except for his temples and hair line. He had plenty of what I call "garbage hair" on the top of his head which is useless in a male context but it appears to be eminently useful for results under HRT, possibly, anyway.

I will never get over the Love Boat episode where a woman got revenge on a guy by conniving to expose his bald pate. Yep, he was humiliated and then she felt pretty crappy as a human being but still it was a memorable scheme. But someone could easily yank my wig off and I don't really care because I have decent hair underneath it now and most people appreciate it when people make the effort to wear pretend hair.
