My guess is that people that are norwood 3 or worse have more or less accepted it. People that are norwood 1 or 2 are very afraid to lose what they got, that is why they come here. If I were a norwood 4 I'm basically pretty done, so I have no reason to be here. But if Im a norwood 1, I will be very afraid to lose it, so I'll come here and seek advice etc.

That is very true. You will often find that the people who worry about hair loss most are at the early stage of the process. I remember when I was in my late teens and early 20s — that was the worst time. When you have most of your hair but have receded for a couple of years, you find the hairstyles that you once had harder to pull off. I remember being desperate for have a straight hairline so I would grow out the temple regions to cover over the bald spots. You can get away with this for a while, but once your hair has receded too much you just give up because you know it looks stupid.
