Hey so recently one of my good friends pointed out to me that it looked like I had a really high or receding hairline. Naturally i've been very self conscious since. I raised the issue with my dad (who is completely bald and started losing his hair in his early thirties) and he said i was talking nonsense and my hairline has been like this ever since he can remember.
If it makes any difference i've only just turned 16 recently, ultimately i know i probably am going to go bald but i'd like to have a good head of hair for atleast the next 10 years.

If someone could give me advice on what to do it would be great, right now my hair feels very thick even with my hairline the way it is. Please tell me if i am being absolutely stupid about the whole thing as well.

any help is appreciated thanks:)

Maybe a little bit, but certainly not much. Some men's hairlines just look like that.

It's also very rare for someone to start having his hairline recede in his teenage years.

If you're really that concerned, you should find a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss and get professional advice.

Holy **** my hair line also looks like yours; I even have those two spots on the front. Mine wasn't as bad as yours at 16, but it did keep receding (21 now). I'd say for sure buy Nizoral 1% ( can get at walgreens). You should also looking into purchasing the S5 cream off the website. It did help me a little. I know your only 16 and shouldn't mess with your hormones, but the S5 is a very mild formula.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys, im gonna go ahead and buy the Nizoral as from what i've heard that seems to be the safest. Other than that i'll revaluate the situation in 6 months and if its gotten anyworse i'll probably head to a doctor:). My hair is really only noticeable if i slick it back fully or pull my hair back with my hand so i guess i'll avoid doing that in the future
