Is This A Maturing Hairline Or Worse

Hi guys

So recently I have been noticing some changes in my hairline. Just 6 months ago it was basically straight now it's taking on more of a U shape. I'm hoping it is just a mature hairline but unfortunately that may not be the case as there has been some slight thinning on the top of the head as well if anyone has any information on what's happening to my hairline I would really appreciate it

Genetics:
Dad I believe to have a mature hairline it's fairly U shaped and hasn't changed in 16 years

Grandpa: NW1 with thinning that only became notable at around 40 (based of pictures)

Pics: my lift side has always been slightly higher than right and the last picture is the worst one I could find of my dads hairline

In 14, and it seems like a patch of my hair on the middle-left of my hair is receding. Genetically my hair is thick and a bit greasy. I found it kind of odd, as usually when hair is receding it pushes back from the corners not the middle. Any way I can fix this? Should I be worried? Is it even receding hair or something else??

You are not balding.

Yes. I dont really see male pattern baldness there, but no one is ever safe. Any year could be the start of it, but dont worry about it. It usually goes very slow so just watch, and if you really have it other people you know will mention it, and so will you.

Thanks looking back I actually think I know what caused any hair loss in the first place I had put my hair to the right side for my entire life however a month of so ago I put it to the left for about a week it looked good but the hair was getting increasingly uncomfortable and starting to curl so I stopped next thing I know my hairlines changing. Hopefully it's just a traction alopecia and it grows back

I don't know much about balding myself that's why I'm posting here lol but male pattern baldness can only begin once maturing is complete that's why I'm working at 16
