Is This A Maturing Hairline? Is That Even Real?

so I've been freaking out about hair loss for about two years, pretty much since my senior year of high school (I'm 20 now). It's led to me somewhat accepting the fact that I may be balding/thinning, and because of this I've recently shaven my head completely bald just out of curiosity. It doesn't so much scare me anymore, I've embraced it and have learned of the conveniences and inconveniences it can have.
I haven't receded a whole lot but my hair is significantly thinner than it used to be, with thin little light hairs all over my scalp, particularly at the front, which has always been quite thin.
I visited a doctor recently who told me I had an under active thyroid and adrenal gland, which may explain that along with many other health issues I don't feel are that relevant to this forum. There really aren't any fully bald people in my family- both grandfathers had hair, though one thinning, my mother has had thin hair related to her thyroid and I have one possibly balding uncle. My father is middle-aged and has a full head of hair still but has recently only started developing a thin/bald spot on his crown. I'm stumped.
Anyways, I can't help but wonder if my hairline is what is referred to as a "mature" hairline (if that even exists, I've heard many say it's just an indicator of early balding) or if it is simply past the point of no return and I should continue to shave my head completely bald and just live with it.
I'll upload some pictures from age 14 to now and let me know what you guys think. And no, I am not trolling. People have said that before and I want it to be clear this is a legitimate concern/insecurity of mine.

You could always be unlucky and progress faster than other family members. The thyroid can definitely add to the problem so I would work on supplementing iron and iodine to help improve your thyroid and do whatever else your doctor says can help. If you get your thyroid under control and looking at your genetics, if you were to throw in finasteride/dutasteride/RU58841 you should be able to keep your hair for a very long time. If you at least get your thyroid under control and don't use any hair growth drugs you should have a solid head of hair until 28-30 area but who knows how fast it can progress.

Mature hairline is very real. In fact, a study showed that out of the entire population of men who never go bald, only 8% of them never develop a matured hairline, and get to keep their juvenile hairline. it usually happens between the ages of 20-30 for most men. You are not receding as of now, it looks like. It's either a maturing hairline at most, or the common paranoia all men go through at some age after they finish puberty.
